With compliance the issue of the moment, version 2.8 delivers
significant additional functionality to assist with recordkeeping

Improved management of sources/legal citations
More fields have been added to sources/citations including a
reference numbers, more URL links for individual clauses, dates of
coverage, and links to superseded sources/citations.
Sources/citations can now be be imported from spreadsheets and
exported in CSV format.
Sources
and stakeholders have been added to the search function, enabling
search on source/stakeholder and filter by source/stakeholder.
And lastly we've enhanced the standard sources/stakeholder
reports. |
Export of compliance requirements to the Web
Once compiled, you can publish all of your compliance
requirements to your online records retention & disposal Schedule.
Our
online outputs provide full text searching and browsing of records
classes and associated disposal rules, sources/citations, records
keeping and stakeholder requirements. |
Creation of user defined fields
a.k.a.® now provides the opportunity to create a range of user
defined fields for further categorisation of your data. Reports and
exports can now be filtered by user defined fields enabling the
publication of subsets of your database. A particularly useful
function if you are managing a number of schemes within the same
database. |
Extended functionality for case file terms
Controlled lists linked to case file terms can now be exported
into any hierarchical output, including the Hummingbird File Plan
and the TRIM Classification Plan.

A new terms report
This new report filters terms by term type. Users can select term
type, then add scope notes, metadata and or relationships as
required. |
More useability features
And lastly there are a host of new useability features.
The All Items selector bar now delivers Records Classification
and Disposition from the same tool bar.
We've built more search options in to assist with editing and
compilation. Searches can be narrowed to any item within the
database:term types, records classes, sources/citations,
stakeholders, and recordkeeping requirements. |
